We Will Remember Them was our tribute to the fallen of the two World Wars and two shows were performed on Remembrance Sunday 2023.

We were striving to strike the right balance between solemn and sober, and lively and light-hearted, and we believe we did justice to the occasion.

Some 20 Hooky Players were involved on stage with a further 4 working behind the scenes. Young Wilf Winter (8 Years Old) joined us to recite his poem ‘Lest We Forget’ and the Mead Family and friends and Don Ratcliffe of the local History Group completed our cast; and the audience enjoyed being able to join in the community singing.
